G4060 Heavy Duty Tubular Latch

Description: These double sprung heavy duty tubular latches are ideal for use with all types of door knobs and handles, even those which are unsprung. They suit a standard 7.6-8.0mm spindle and can be turned in both directions. These latches will also work with bolt through handles which have 38mm centres.
We sell both the original version made in the West Midlands by Imperial Locks and an imported version by Frelan Hardware which is essentially a copy of the original. The UK version comes with either solid brass or stainless steel faceplate and keeper, the imported version comes with both satin chrome and brass plated keepers.
Sizes: 21 x 15mm barrel section (26mm diameter), 57 x 25mm faceplate.
Fixings: Supplied with fixing screws.
Other info: We recommend a latch with backset of at least 75mm for use with door knobs - to avoid scraping your knuckles on the door frame when you turn the knob. The smaller sizes (47 / 70 mm & 60 / 80mm) should only be used with lever handles.
