Description: Our own brand oval door knobs suitable for use with both mortice and rim locks. This pattern is inspired by an old hollow spun knob made by S Lilley in the Black Country. Our version is sand cast in moulds making it a bit more robust than the original and more to modern tastes. The oval shape gives an effective ergonomic grip making them easier to turn than round knobs and they can be orientated vertically or horizontally depending on preference.
Base metal: Cast solid brass.
Period: Georgian; Victorian.
Fixings: Supplied as pair with spindle and fixing screws.
Sizes: 64 x 39mm knob, 57mm rose, 61mm projection.
